Tofino Resort & Marina
634 Campbell St, Tofino, BC
Tofino has always been one of my favourite resort towns to visit on Vancouver Island. So when my husband and I had the chance to visit for the weekend, I quickly jumped at the opportunity.
On this trip, we stayed at Tofino’s newest resort – Tofino Resort & Marina. This 62-room resort offers king beds, ocean or mountain views with oversized balconies, and a marina. Conveniently located next to the resort, are two waterfront dining venues – 1909 Kitchen and The Hatch Waterfront Pub.
We were lucky enough to attend a collaboration dinner between two amazing chefs – Chef Paul Moran of 1909Kitchen and Chef Felix Zhou of Eat Heritage in Vancouver, BC. This dinner was part of Feast Tofino, an annual food celebration.
1909Kitchen offers a shared plate concept with Chef Paul Moran at the helm, showcasing produce sourced and foraged from Tofino’s ocean, shoreline and forests. Chef Moran’s passion and talent for foraging blends with his extensive background to create a distinctly local menu.
The Hatch Waterfront Pub is Tofino’s social hub, offering a relaxed yet vibrant vibe. Guests can sit back and take in the sweeping views of Tofino Inlet while sipping on local craft beers or classic cocktails.
Located by the marina, the Adventure Centre completes the resort experience and offers a variety of activities: bear and whale watching; day trips to Tofino’s legendary hotsprings; fresh and saltwater fishing excursions; gourmet heli-picnics on remote beaches. The marina is the only full-service dock in Tofino with 58 slips and the only marina on the west coast of Vancouver Island to accommodate yachts up to 130’.
Thank you Tofino Resort & Marina Adventures for having me as a guest.
