HOT TOWN, SUMMER IN THE CITY: RAILTOWN CAFE ANNOUNCES 2016 DATES FOR ITS POPULAR SATURDAY TAILGATE BARBECUE SERIES
Railtown Cafe is taking it to the streets again this summer when the counter-service hotspot continues its wildly popular al-fresco-style Tailgate Barbecue Series on select Saturdays in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Railtown District.
Kicking off May 28 and continuing June 11, July 9, Aug. 13 and Sept. 17 from 4 to 10 p.m., Railtown Chefs and Co-owners Dan Olson and Tyler Day will roll out their custom-built, 12-foot barbecue barrel to serve up a mouthwatering selection of slow-smoked brisket and pork shoulder and beer-brined chicken and sausage along with a choice of made-from-scratch sides. Tickets are available for $19 per person plus tax, with a vegetarian option for $13 per person.

Barbecue enthusiasts can also quench their thirst with Railtown’s rotating selection of craft beers by local breweries such as Postmark, Driftwood, Red Truck and Strange Fellows as well as house-made Sangria and Lynchburg Lemonade, wines by the glass and bottle and happy hour specials on tap from 4 to 6 p.m.

Tickets for each of the Railtown Tailgate Barbecue Series events on May 28, June 11, July 9, Aug. 13 and Sept. 17 are available for $19 (meat-lovers) and $13 (vegetarian) plus tax and may be purchased online at www.railtowncafe.ca/events as well as onsite. All tickets purchased online in advance include a complimentary drink voucher (up to $6 value).
